A good if slightly frustrating weekend for 270R driver Pete Walters, lining up 3rd on the grid for race 1, he worked together with the other podium finishers to pull a good gap and then the race began in ea [Image] rnest, positions swapped several times a lap until in a run to the line he lost the win by 0.024s. Race 2 was pretty much a carbon copy and in another run to the line again he was pipped by 0.074s. We’ll take 2 x 2nd places for the first round, and fingers crossed for 1 step higher at knockhill.
Congratulations to Jay (and team) for winning the 2017 race of remembrance. Also Rob (and team CTS1) for claiming P2, especially after a mechanical problem on lap 2 caused them to fall 3 laps down. P3 was claimed by the second team CTS car of Pete, Pete and Geoff, meaning 5 of the 9 podium drivers are race – coach trained. Well done all.

Jay Mack followed him home in P2 to take P2 in the championship.

Adam croft battled hard all race to finish a very creditable 7th, in a high quality field of experienced racers.
After a heart stopping race with plenty of action and place swapping Rob takes a valuable 3rd place which clinches 2nd place overall in the championship.
Well done to Peter Reynolds on a hard fought 5th, some quality racing!
Toby takes a brilliant P3 in the final round of the Caterham academy championship.
Pete Walters takes another pole ahead of Jay Mack in P2 for this weekends roadsport race.
They are currently P1 & P2 in the championship coming into the final round, so this puts them in a great position to close out the season in a song way.
