A good if slightly frustrating weekend for 270R driver Pete Walters, lining up 3rd on the grid for race 1, he worked together with the other podium finishers to pull a good gap and then the race began in ea [Image] rnest, positions swapped several times a lap until in a run to the line he lost the win by 0.024s. Race 2 was pretty much a carbon copy and in another run to the line again he was pipped by 0.074s. We’ll take 2 x 2nd places for the first round, and fingers crossed for 1 step higher at knockhill.

Huge Congratulations to the Championship Winner – Rodney Frost (Class B XJS). One point was the difference between first and second in the overall championship this year. It was a close one! Been a pleasure coaching you again this year, see you next year for more. [Image]

Congratulations to Jay (and team) for winning the 2017 race of remembrance. Also Rob (and team CTS1) for claiming P2, especially after a mechanical problem on lap 2 caused them to fall 3 laps down. P3 was claimed by the second team CTS car of Pete, Pete and Geoff, meaning 5 of the 9 podium drivers are race – coach trained. Well done all.
